Looking east towards Andrus Landing before (left) and after (right) the shore was fortified with a cement wall. Note the triangular fish gate meant to prevent logs (and people?) from washing down the outlet. The contraption on the shore is for opening and closing the outflow; this is shown better in the postcard below.
