Flooding Around the Lake
The areas surrounding Indian Lake have flooded regularly over the last century. Perhaps the best-known flooding event occurred on Easter weekend, 1913, after torrential rain pounded much of Central Ohio. This event was documented by local photographers on postcards, some of which are reproduced here. More recent events are documented through photographs taken by myself in June 2015 and again in June 2019.
