At 19’6″ tall, Our Lady of Fatima Shrine is one of the tallest statues of the Virgin Mary in the U.S. Counting the concrete pedestal the monument is 43′ tall and was dedicated in August 1964. It was commissioned by George Quatman, owner of the Amusement Park at the time and located near the entrance to the harbor.
The Indian Lake Yacht Club is located where the Minnewawa Dance Hall used to be. Before moving to its current location, the Club House was on a small island off the mainland.
